The registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of a fully completed registration form. Each participant will receive electronic confirmation of their registration. If the maximum attendee capacity is reached, CIO Academy Asia (the Organiser) reserves the right to refuse any registration.
Registration Cancellation Policy
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the Organiser by email.
If the written notification of cancellation is received before 29 June 2018, the paid fee less an administration fee of US$100 will be refunded. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date. Please note no refund or discount will be made if an inclusive function or event within the paid fee is not taken up or is subsequently cancelled.
For speakers/panelists/delegates whose delegate fee, travel and accommodation costs are fully or partially covered by CIO Academy Asia, the guests will be required to reimburse the costs already incurred in confirming his/her participation in the Summit, this may include flight tickets which already been issued and/or hotel room booking. The amount for reimbursement will be the actual costs incurred based on the third-party price, add an administration fee of US$100.
Where there are extenuating circumstances, a reimbursement settlement outside of these terms may be considered by and at the discretion of the Organiser.
Modification of the Event Programme
The Organiser reserve the right to modify the programme, which is published as an indication only.
Cancellation of the Summit
In the event that the Summit cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Organiser (Force Majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the Organiser, the Organiser cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, financial losses, etc.
Under these circumstances, the Organiser reserve the right to either retain the entire paid fee and to use it for a future event, or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the Summit and which could not be recovered from third parties.
Use of Personal Information
The Organiser will collect information about you and affiliated organisation, provided in the Registration Form for the purposes of enabling us to:
- register your attendance at the Summit;
- assist with administrative and planning purposes;
- facilitate your requirements in relation to the Summit; and
- allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the Summit.
- Keep you informed on other similar programmes in the future;
The information that you provide in the Registration Form and information provided at any other time during the Summit, including any feedback obtained during the Summit, will be used by CIO Academy Asia to offer, provide and continue to improve our Summit and other services.
Summit Delegate List
The Organiser may share a Delegate List of all delegates to other event participants. The Delegate List will contain delegate’s name, affiliation and location (state or country) only. Registrants may withhold consent for inclusion of their details on the list by notifying the Event Secretariat in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Otherwise your name, affiliation and location (state or country) only will be included in the list.
Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Organiser may disclose some of the information that is collected in the Registration Form such as your name, organisation and its location, your email address and work contact number to Summit partners for marketing purposes. The Organiser will not otherwise, without your consent, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose unless it would reasonably be expected that such purpose is related to the offer, provision and improvement of the event or where such purpose is permitted or required by law.
Registrants may withhold consent for disclosure of their contact details to Summit partners by notifying the the Event Secretariat in writing to email@example.com
By participating in this Summit, you grant permission to the Organiser, its partners and agents, to take photographs at the Summit and during social activities. This may be reproduced and distributed in the Organiser’s and partners’ news, promotional materials and other relevant publications, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the Summit website and social media platforms.
